I have my masters in sculpture from Southern Methodist University. I thesis show was made up of steel sculptures. I have continued to work with steel because of it ability to be manipulated into an unlimited number of images. My sculptures can be add to an outdoor landscape or can be hung on an interior wall in any room. My sculpture style was once described as ooglie booglie. However I would say they take a lot from all of my visual inspirations. Ranging from Big Daddy Roth's Ratfink to the abstract expressionism of David Smith.

I have always used the natural world to help me create a
visual world of my own. The rhythms and patterns of
animals, trees ,and nature contribute to the composition of
my work. I find that observation of the real is essential to
my expression of the unreal that dwells in my art.
