Quarter Sawn Red Oak Rolltop Desk
My wife wanted us to make a roll top desk for our own use. We found a pattern we liked and started building. It is made of Quarter Sawn Red Oak, stained Golden Oak and sprayed with Laquar. The two bottom drawers, one on each side, are made for file folders. It has all of the cubby holes for sorting mail and supplies.

We are a retired couple, me a heavy equipment operator and my wife a highschool math teacher, We enjoy doing many thing's but woodworking is at the top of our activites.
We have been doing woodworking for many year's. After we retired we built cabinet doors for our son who has a cabinet shop. We decided we wanted to build other thing's not just door's. We have built custom project's and refurbished and repurposed lots of fruniture in the last several year's.
We enjoy woodworking and making a special project for our customer's. We use all kind's of wood and try to make something that will last for many year's.

Mr. Harris was easy to work and communicate with and gave valuable input during the process. Updates were frequent and the project finished in a timely manner. I would definitely work with him again. I arranged my own pick-up and delivery, that's why shipping/delivery was not rated.
