For Reclaimed Wood/Steel Reception DeskI was very excited to work with Dan on designing a custom desk for my company's office space based on the work and reviews I saw online.
I wish I could give them 5 stars, but there were a few things that hold me back and at one point I would have given a 2 or 3:
1- When I first reached out I asked for the desk to be stained to match our decor. When Dan sent the final pictures there was a matte coat of varnish, but no stain. It was too late to fix that so it technically was not what I wanted.
2- Installation was not at all easy. We are in Boston, so the desk was shipped to us. I was assured that the instructions would make it simple. A contractor and 3 other sets of hands struggled their way through constructing and were not able to get pieces aligned just right.
3- The desk was late. The contact that I signed had the desk being delivered of the 7th, I didn't get it until the 16th. There was no communication from the team that there was going to be a delay until I reached out asking for a tracking number when it hadn't arrived.
I will add: I gave 4 stars because although all of this, Dan was responsive when I reached out and did refund us partially for the lack of stain. If I were to work with the team again I would ask them to come do the install and insist on better communication along the way. Albeit, that comes at a price.

For Adam's ShelvesAfter seeing his great portfolio, I knew re.dwell was the one for my project. Daniel was quick with responses and proposals, gave me a hell of a price on the custom shelves I was wanting built. He shipped right on time, and my wife and I are thrilled with the way they turned out. Highly recommended!
