Omnibus Chair

My name is Max Terpinyan and I am a third-generation furniture maker. I design and make completely original work, one piece at a time for one customer at a time.
While I keep a small inventory of completed pieces available for sale, most of my furniture is created for each client’s unique taste and circumstances.
The first step in the process is to contact me to discuss what you have in mind. I don’t charge for talking and if you are local to NJ, I am available to visit your home or business and spend some time with you, sketching ideas and getting the feel for the environment the piece will eventually occupy.
Think of this like the initial consultation you might have with any professional, a chance for each of us to get to know one another and decide if we are a good match.
This is an exciting process which is supposed to be gratifying and by no means stressful.
When the design is finalized I will start working on your piece. During this phase I encourage you to visit my shop to see the work in progress. Don’t miss this opportunity; everyone says it’s a lot of fun! When we are done you will have a custom piece with fit, finish, and quality you will hardly find in factory furniture, and because you were a participant in the design, a part of you will be in that piece for as long as it lasts. And, boy, will it last long!
