Buman Dining Chair
This was designed for the same local couple that had me make the bar stools. They were interested in a 1960ish library chair style with a ladder back design. pictured chairs are made of Red Oak and is unfinished. All joints are mortise and tenon. The only screws used were to hold the seat to the swivel and the swivel to the legs. They can be produced from the wood of your choice. Pictured seat high is 18".

Hi, my name is Josh Hinze. Originally, I worked in a lab developing products for the alternative health market, did this for 20 years. The company was family owned and, due to many deep differences, the company sold. Lab work (and computers) was all I knew. God had other things in mind, however. I had a friend who was a carpenter and brilliant at finish work. He asked me to work with him and I accepted. I was a know nothing but he was patient. I learned to love carpentry, especially finish work, due to the level of precision needed to make something beautiful. This love of precision came from the lab work I had done for so many years.
I've come to love frame and panel work. I was able to refinish a dresser from ~1870 and upon taking it apart, I fell in love with the way it was constructed. The dresser was 150 years old and still as solid as when it was new. I drew out every detail of the dresser using CAD software so I wouldn't forget how it was constructed.

Josh was so helpful in suggesting what type of wood he thought would be best and he walked me through his construction plan. He sent me picture updates throughout the process to ensure I liked how it was looking. The final product was exactly what I wanted, and it was beautifully constructed. I could tell that he cared about making for me exactly what I wanted. He had such enthusiasm throughout and he was pleasant to work with. For I would like a cutting board like the one featured (#5)5.0Josh was great to work with. He kept in touch with me every step of the project. My husband commented on how beautiful the cutting boards are when I unpacked them (and he is someone who often pays little attention to such items). Josh was dissatisfied with the first one he made due to some difficulties he had not anticipated but sent me both of them. I like them regardless of what Josh saw as imperfections . For Live Edge Walnut Cutting/Serving Board5.0My new cutting board is beautiful. Josh was very prompt at keeping me informed and up-to-date on my project and it was delivered in a timely fashion. I would recommend his workmanship. My only reason for four stars instead of five is a small indentation on one side of the board where food could get stuck. The finish is beautiful.
