This listing is for a high quality wooden clothes drying rack. It is very durable, by being made with 5/8" oak dowel rods and 1 1/4" poplar supports. There are 11 dowel rods total and the top is completely flat which is nice for sweaters. The side pieces are perfect for hanging small pieces such as bras, underwear, and swimsuits! The collapsible dimensions are overall length: 34 1/2", width: 20 1/2", height: 7 1/2" The overall standing dimensions are length: 34 1/2", width: 17", height: 39". The clothes rack has 2 coats of exterior grade varnish to make it waterproof, mold resistant, and UV resistant. It will not bleed on to clothing. This wood clothes rack was created after breaking several of the cheaply made "big box store" clothes racks or having the dinky racks blow over in the wind. We realized how cheaply made and un-sturdy those racks were and decided to build a clothes rack on steroids, so to say. The clothes rack is jumbo when unfolded, but folds down to a rather compact piece for storage. This is very sturdy and we have yet to see one like it anywhere. We have personally used this rack for 3 years, several times a week, and it has worked perfectly. It is sturdy enough to hold blue jeans, sweaters, and other heavy, wet clothes. This would make a great gift since it's built to last forever! It's repeatedly been called "functional art" and an "heirloom piece" by many of our purchasers! People who see the rack are amazed by how beautiful a clothes rack can actually be. We've had numerous people say they are relieved to finally find us as they've searched the internet high and low for a heavy duty drying rack!

Brady has always loved to make things for fun. On his time off from his "real job" he found himself building a children's wooden Jeep ride-on toy, a wood strip canoe, paddles, and snowshoes. Some friends noticed his talent and Brady began to do small jobs for them. His wife, Jody, became addicted (like all of us) to shopping on Etsy. She thought to herself, why can't Brady turn his hobby into a hobby with a paycheck? After she invested some time in convincing him that people would not only accept his creations, but thoroughly appreciate them, he reluctantly agreed. In a matter of weeks after starting an Etsy store, Brady was asked to be featured, along with his wood side tables, in a real, legitimate book! That was the boost of confidence that he needed.
A few months later, Jody became aware of the almighty Renegade Craft Fair. They applied; they got in! Yoder's Wooded Lot was selected by Apartment Therapy as "Favorite Handcrafted Housewares at Renegade Craft Fair Chicago." During the meantime, they've focused on learning and growing their business.
Joining the handmade community has helped them become more aware of ways to be respectful to Mother Earth. They reuse old newspapers as packing materials and Jody gets the cardboard for the boxes from the wheelchair department at a local children's hospital. They've also gained a new appreciation for repurposing and reusing vintage goods. The rest of their story is still being written…

For Ron's TV trays with a lip aroundYoder's Wooded Lot built exactly what we wanted. They are built sturdy and the finish on the pieces is great, All six of the trays match in dimension, color, feel. Brady added a leg lock that is simple and effective which we love. Brady and his wife kept us informed through the entire process. We got our money's worth and more.
