Steampunk Gentlman Rabbit Necklace Pendant

$25

The most stately of rabbits is the gentleman rabbit. With a flair of steampunk accessory, this little rabbit is very fashionable and is sculpted entirely out of polymer clay. His fine facial features were painted on with care. Complete with tiny top hat, monocle, and waistcoat, this rabbit is dressed for a night out on the town. Perhaps you could be his date for the evening? Standing at approx. 4 cm tall (1.5 inches) this little rabbit would make an adorable addition to any necklace or keychain. He would also be lovely as a cellphone dust plug accessory. He is very lightweight and has been glazed for protection. He will come with a jump ring for easy attachment to chains and/or key rings. The rabbits ears, top hat, and head were all attached with wire and bake and bond. This will make them durable. Please note that the charm should still be handled with care!

About Me:

I work part time as a bookseller and part time as a student. My handmade creations take up one hundred percent of my passion and love when I am home. I really enjoy making the things in my imagination into tangible creations. I am twenty-two years old and working on a degree in Graphic Design. I currently live with my boyfriend in a one bedroom apartment that also functions as my work area. This little adventure started off as a hobby three years ago and has since grown in to a love and passion that I am working on every day. There is always new techniques and things to learn with clay and I hope I never have to stop!

My Business:

I started selling on Etsy with the intent to become a business in November of 2013. Since then, I have worked hard to satisfy my customers and earn their positive feedback. I have also started going to local fairs in my area to try and drum up some business and it has really started to take off!

My Work:

I sculpt from Premo and Fimo polymer clay and use various household tools to help me create the shapes and textures throughout my work. I used to love dollhouses and the tiny food and accessories that went along with them. I had a thought to turn those accessories in to jewelry and from there I have become a miniature dessert guru in my own way.

Often, I will have an idea in the middle of the night and my boyfriend will stumble out of the bedroom to find me working away at a new cake concept or dragon sculpture. I love making all kinds of things out of clay! Whatever inspires me the most is what comes through in my work.
