Ed was great to work with and helped design the whole project

I had a detailed specifications for a custom poker room cash box. Design47 came through with a competitively priced bid and worked out all of the details for the project. We were kept informed of progress and communication was excellent on every aspect. They did a great job keeping the final design within our budget. The finished product is awesome! Solid craftsmanship and it looks great!

Working with Design 47 (Ed Seavers) to build my project was an exceptionally positive experience. The communication was extraordinary. He paid attention to every fine detail in asking for, and following, my instructions. He was very knowledgeable about cabinetry and woodworking. He completed the project and shipped it with great care far in advance of the date originally promised. The finished product is exactly as I ordered. The quality and workmanship are outstanding. He is a very highly skilled professional. I highly recommend Design47 and would not hesitate to ask them to complete another project.

I have nothing but good things to say about Design47. Not only was the project done before schedule but they also delivered it right to my house (I live about 2 hours away) and even brought it into my home and assembled it! The craftsmanship is top notch and was made exactly to what I had requested.

Ed did a perfect job. I was very particular on what I wanted such as wide board maple planks for the table top with a unique length of 72 inches and unique legs for the table. Ed found the boards which you cannot get at any ordinary lumber yard and cutomed made the legs. Ed is a perfectionist and loves furniture making. I was able to get exactly what I wanted by sending a picture and measurements of an existing plastic table . I wanted a wood version of the same concept; not an easy task. Greg and Ed Severs. with very little communication were able to deliver the table exactly as requested , quickly and at a very reasonable price and. the "snack"table is a work of art. We are sooo happy with our queen over queen bunk bed! Ed was a master craftsman and has created the most beautiful and gorgeous heirloom quality bed for our family! My son just LOVES sleeping in his new "eagles nest" and his friends think it is the coolest ever during sleepovers. The bed is so sturdy and well made and the assembly instructions we excellent. Very intelligently made! And Ed and Greg are great guys, as we were fortunate to meet them when we drove to pickup the bed when completed. Recommend this team very highly!!! Thank you again!!

I had a very unique piece done by Ed - a carved shoji screen all in KOA wood. The screen turned out absolutely gorgeous - exactly what I wanted. The communication throughout the process was wonderful - every step of the way, and Ed delivered the screen to my door, which was above and beyond. Despite some difficulties toward the end of the project, Ed/Greg Seaver has been wonderful with communication and customer service. This isn't an easy business to be in but client communications and customer service make all the difference sometimes.

As this is our first purchase through CustomMade, our experience is that we need to specify all details. Basically, the finished product met expectations. We would have liked the edge of the table top to have a routered rounded edge -our mistake for not being specific enough. The table was easy to assemble, but a few of the screw holes were drilled too large or too deep causing the screws not to secure tightly. Lastly, the table tops should have been bubble wrapped, especially having to pay a significant amount for shipping. Some of the table edges were slightly chipped or mashed. Despite the above comments, we are pleased with the overall project and would consider future work with Greg/Ed Seavers.

Our porch swing is beautiful. Ed did a wonderful job using the example picture and making just what we wanted.

I'm very happy with the Magic The Gathering card cabinet! It is solid, sturdy, and beautiful. It was even delivered to my family room by it's creator! The whole experience was a positive one. I couldn't be happier.

Greg and Ed are excellent craftsmen! The display came out beautifully. Only issue was the delivery service (FedEx) that didn't take the same pride or care in the service they provide. Although the delivery service damaged the display, these guys worked to get it fixed without delay. Thanks guys...can't wait to showcase your work at my retirement.
