Edgar Allen Poe Moonshine Jug
This jug has been made by hand from porcelain and finished in a food-safe glaze. It stands about 7" tall and 3.5" diameter topped with a natural cork. The hand-pulled handle lends a unique flair to each form. I create the designs with a combination of custom stamps, decals and stencils. Each jug can be personalized with a name and anniversary date or customized with a range of color & imagery. Your jug will be a lasting and unique conversation piece.

I take my inspiration from the brothers Cornwall and W. Wallace Kirkpatrick who operated a large stoneware pottery in southern Illinois in the late 1800's.
Like the brothers I use my Jugs and Flasks to celebrate contemporary heroes and outlaws or comment on issues of the day. My Jugs also make a great way to celebrate a wedding or anniversary, a birthday, or reward contributors to fundraisers. A jug may make a most unusual addition to a friends home decor.
