Dining Table, White Oak/Black Walnut
After moving into our house, I embarked on the project of creating all of our furniture. I started with tables. This was the third table I built after the kitchen table and coffee table were complete. I love the look of the black walnut next to the oak, which looks golden with the Tung oil stain. The design is modern and minimalist which would describe me as well.

I live and work in a 19th Century farm house in the rolling hills of North Carolina. I was raised on a farm and have a lovely garden spot and greenhouse as well as my wood shop. I enjoy building all sorts of things, from custom furniture to houses.
