Lot's of photos of the finished product but nothing about the road taken to arrive. Here is a series showing the construction of a screen. It all starts and ends with the hand plane to ensure a smooth finish and that all the pieces line up. Then comes measuring, marking and cutting. Then assembly and clamping. And finally a finished product.

I live and work in a 19th Century farm house in the rolling hills of North Carolina. I was raised on a farm and have a lovely garden spot and greenhouse as well as my wood shop. I enjoy building all sorts of things, from custom furniture to houses.
