This chair was made using traditional Windsor construction techniques and finishes. The spindles and arm that make up the chair back are oak, shaved to the correct dimension while still fresh and then kiln dried just before gluing into the chair. The legs are done in the same fashion but with fresh maple logs. By working the wood while it is still wet then later drying it, the parts are allowed to swell together making the joints stronger than just a glue joint. The seat is pine, shaped to fit the body's natural contours. The finish is black millk paint over red milk paint, topped with shellac and oil. Design and instruction from Peter Galbert.

For Pub/Console TableThe entire experience was great from picking the console table, working with Meredith Hart on the material of construction, communicating progress and timing for final shipment. Just received the table and we are extremely happy with the quality and design. Would highly recommend and we will consider first for future needs.

For Boots And Shoes Storage BenchWe are very happy with the work Meredith did on a custom-sized bench with shoe storage. The furniture is exactly what we wanted, and it was made quickly and is of very good qualify. We got regular updates on the project; Meredith is a total pro. The shipping service she used packed the bench appropriately and there was no damage of any kind. They could have been better about scheduling the delivery, as it took three tries for them to find us at home, but that was a very small issue. Overall, we are very happy with the experience and would definitely consider Meredith for another project. Thanks!
