Cashmere, Lambskin, Rabbit Contemporary Coat

Cashmere, Lambskin, Rabbit Contemporary Coat

$1,000

This jacket was created for the Cartel Noir 2014 collection. The exterior of the coat is made from an imported cashmere and wool blend. The collar is asymmetrical and has custom zippers from Riri in Switzerland. Inside the collar is imported rabbit from Italy. The inspiration for the coat was "NY chic meets Aspen holiday". From a technical point of view, the coat required a tremendous amount of hand-work around the lining. Almost every piece was sourced and imported from our resources in Italy and Switzerland. There were a lot of unique challenges we had to overcome such as having a custom 40" zipper that curved at a 45 degree angle in the neck. There were also 4 darts to provide an extremely nuanced fit.
