Contemporary Rain Jacket
This rain jacket we completed for the 2014 Cartel Noir collection was a feat of engineering. The entire piece is made out of a DWR coated taffeta that weighed only .9oz/yard (to put that in perspective, a normal t-shirt weight is 6-8oz/yard). This was an exceptionally complicated piece and we loved it. Each took about 24 hours to sew in production. It featured 4 different zippers, an interior padded chest piece and silver accented grommets. I feel that this piece encompasses what makes us a special company -- the dedication to the details, materials and craftsmanship.
