Large Colorful Abstract Panels Painting Wood Wall Art Wall Sculpture by Rosemary Pierce LARGE ABSTRACT WOOD WALL SCULPTURE by Rosemary Pierce Modern Art Solidarity - a beautiful rich, vibrant abstract painting on wood panels ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a beautiful collection of blends of colors from lighter to deeper of yellow, orange, red, lime green, teal, and blue. -a custom original handmade collection 5 pieces -Comes ready to hang and enjoy -each piece approximately 9.5 x 36 inches ( or any custom size you prefer -- this is the default size, but I can accommodate any size you need for your space) -rich, detailed layers of paint -thick, high-gloss lacquer glaze finish Solidarity - a group standing together collectively in unison. This series "Solidarity" is all about pieces working together for a collective message; a group standing in unity. All of my work is conceptualized and handmade by me. First, I cut each block of wood and sand. I try to use repurposed or upcycled wood whenever possible. This particular collection was made with upcycled scrap wood. How wonderful to turn something that would have ended up in the trash dump into original happy art. :-) Then I paint each panel separately a rich blend of layers of paint and color, followed by more layers and detail. Then I use a subtle splatter technique for intrigue and character with a bit of contrast of small bits of black which allow the colors to stand out with even more saturation and vibrancy. The finish is outstanding with great shine and gloss. I finish each block, using my own technique, with thick high gloss lacquer glaze. The end result is a finished product that is vibrant, interesting, character filled, and truly original!
