Hall Tree
This was the second commission by this client. it is styled of of an original collection called Ferrell Ranch. it is made of quarter sawn white oak and native walnut. The original collection was made for Mr. Pete Ferrell and the Ferrell Ranch Headquarters. Pete was one of my first clients that gave me his trust and said build the style you thing fits. i had full artistic license. All of the lumber in the original pieces came from the leftovers that were used to build the horse barn and granary. it was all walnut, white and red oak that was growing along the creek right near where the barn was built. Cut and milled right there. The extra was in the barn for over 90 years. It was an honor to be able to use it in the design and construction of the collection of original pieces that are in the Ferrell Ranch Collection.

I am a full time artisan furniture maker and Fine Artist. I design, build, hand carve, Paint and sculpt, museum quality fine art and fine furniture.
I create designs that fit my client. I work one on one, and or thru your Architect or Design professional. My major work is usually a 12 to 24 month process but smaller projects run shorter lead times. I usually have one or two apprentices but have a hands on approach with my work, yes I get dirty. My studio and gallery is independent from my home. I have been a professional artist for over thirty years.
