This handmade cutting board is made for art lovers. Exceptionally beautiful and yet still useful to cut vegetables or use as a serving platter. The center portion is made from solid maple making it very durable while the edges are made from customizable exotic wood. The combination creates a stunning conversation piece without even using it! As an art piece, special care must be given to ensure its appearance. Hand wash and air dry after each use and do NOT submerse in water or place it in a dishwasher. Keep out of direct sunlight as this will darken the exotic wood. Comes with a selection of different exotic woods and with a food safe oil finish.

As the kitchen has no wood adding a beautiful wood board would be a nice accent and functional kitchen piece. The board arrived early and is in a word, stunning. As another reviewer commented, "it is too nice to use". The build and finish of the board is superb. I've seen lots of cutting boards but none have approached the beauty and craftsmanship of this board. If anyone has any doubts on the worth of these boards, don't. We see a second board in the future.
