A home grown furniture design and build firm. Our products are designed to withstand time and trend. We have a strong focus on re-use and re-claimed material although, this does not exclude us from using responsibly and locally sourced lumber for specific requests.

The majority of our work implements the partnering of steel and wood. These two materials multiply the finish options giving us a broad aesthetic scope. It pairs the organic sense of nature with the modern urban settings we often find ourselves surrounded by.

As the head designer at dnl-dsn I draw inspiration from the city of Philadelphia's rich colonial and industrial history. From the craftsmanship of Independence Hall to the structural engineering of our old freight train bridges, I strive to create continuity through juxtaposition.
