Custom Walnut Slab Dining Table Or Desk
Creating beautiful solid slab tables is my favorite project. Pictured here are images from two tables that were commissioned in 2011 for a Manhattan apartment. Price is highly variable based on the type of wood selected, size, and choice of legs. They were originally created with wooden legs (pictured) which were later changed for cast bronze legs. The desk was disassembled and packed for transport to Paris. We are now shipping across the U.S. on request.

My work: I design custom furniture, specializing in slab wood tables and other pieces that incorporate a part of nature into my clients' Manhattan and Brooklyn homes. I also was specially trained by Senegalese drummakers to craft djembe drums. I make an effort to create space-saving designs that use beautifully selected pieces of reclaimed wood. I also handle general contracting projects including complete home remodeling and landscaping.
I spent much of my life in the jungles of Costa Rica and my time living close to nature inspires the way I approach my designs, as I want my clients to have the opportunity to bring more natural design elements that may not always be found in our urban environment.
