The Yellow Pine used for this reclaimed shelf came from a townhouse recently demolished in Tribeca, New York City. The frame is made from 1.5-inch hot rolled steel tube finished with a blackened patina. Custom made to fit in any space; this shelving solution adds instant character to any room!

Mark Jupiter is a 4th generation New York builder best known as a founding partner of the award winning and nationally acclaimed New World Home, creators of the New Old Green Modular (currently featured in the new hardcover PREFABULOUS + ALMOST OFF THE GRID). Inspired by the craftsman of his family starting with his great grandfather hammering out the original copper roofs of the city’s first skyscrapers, to the hand carved furniture designed and built by his father, Mark is committed to continuing his family’s long standing tradition with the launch of MARK JUPITER in DUMBO, Brooklyn.
MARK JUPITER offers a well-crafted furniture collection at a cost accessible to the general market. With a philosophical commitment to sustainability MARK JUPITER utilizes mostly reclaimed and repurposed materials found from local sources.
