Rescued Heart Pine Desk
Sometimes, history must be salvaged to create a truly one-of-a-kind piece. The Heart Pine of this desk was rescued from the cellar of an old Factory sub-basement in DUMBO, Brooklyn. The unique soft close fabricated steel drawers under the top make this the perfect desk for anyone. The base are cast Iron salvaged from the Machine era of the early 1900s.

Inspired by the craftsman of his family starting with his great grandfather hammering out the original copper roofs of the city’s first skyscrapers, to the hand carved furniture designed and built by his father, Mark is committed to continuing his family’s long standing tradition with the launch of MARK JUPITER in DUMBO, Brooklyn.

With a philosophical commitment to sustainability MARK JUPITER utilizes mostly reclaimed and repurposed materials found from local sources.
