White Oak Beer Engine
This custom "beer engine" in crafted from reclaimed wide board oak flooring. I used copper tubing and a new RV water pump to fashion the pump mechanics. This device is used to pull beer from a cask not a keg. Cask conditioned beers are less carbonated and need help being drawn from the barrel.

I own and operate a video production company in Chicago and in my free time I enjoy building custom furniture out of reclaimed materials.
I learned my wood working skills at a young age from my father who is an accomplished wood worker. Several years ago my wife and I bought a house that was built in 1893. As you might imagine there were (and still are) countless projects with a structure that old. Now that I had the space I slowly I started to build my arsenal of tools. I started to create pieces in what some might call a free-form style. I rarely use plans, most of my inspiration comes from wandering the reclamation warehouse until a project reveals itself to me.
I thoroughly enjoy the process of creating which shows in both my professional career and my hobbies and I look forward to sharing the experience with you.
