Walnut Buffet
Crafted from solid walnut, spalted and Birdseye maple, wenge, and stainless steel. This piece can function as either a buffet or media cabinet. The case highlights it's arts and crafts styled joinery with sixteen meticulous, chamfered through-tenons and twelve dovetails, perefctly joint the case at a subtle, acute angle. The spalting on the top creates incredible figure and tones.

As a the maker and proprietor of Tempest Woodworking, my sole objective is this: to make something that I think is beautiful, and share that beauty with those who love furniture. I focus on making objects that are well constructed so that their utility is not overlooked or neglected. Again, my pieces are for homes that are lived in.
