I am an artist who specializes in watercolors. My work includes a wide variety of subject matter, but I am most intrigued by the idea of "special place". My work recalls not just what makes these places look unique but also how they can make a person feel. The paintings make a connection between environment and well being. I love to travel so my watercolors reflect not only the special places but also the interesting people I meet along the way.
In my business, I give my clients the opportunity to connect with places that have special meaning for them. For some it could be a favorite vacation spot, first home, or their wedding venue. My favorite spot is my Grandparent's cabin. I also love Yellowstone National Park and Lake Malawi where my family and I often visited during the two years we lived in Malawi.
I have a BFA from Baylor University and started focusing on the medium of watercolor a few years after graduating. My watercolors have been included in numerous juried competitions, the most recent being the Women Artists of the West exhibit at the Women's Museum of California in San Diego.
