The idea behind this project was to create a small bench that would fit in an entryway. The top is a 2x12 scrap piece of lumber that has been distressed and carved to perfection with a belt sander. It was stained with a Jacobean oil based stain and finished with 3 coats of high gloss clear polyurethane which makes it easier to maintain.The legs have been painted with a flat paint and shined with a paste finish wax. Stuff I make in my free time from wood I find. I enjoy making new stuff and trying new projects out. I have become pretty fond of making benches and end tables but I am open to new ideas. This is more of a side hobby then an actual business. I have no building or shop and make most the stuff at my home. Which means low overhead and more savings.

I prefer to do local work that way a customer can see the finished product in person before paying.

I have worked in construction in the past and on the occasion helped out with a company that builds exhibits for trade shows.
