Hand Dyed Bowls

$90

This bowl was inspired by the grain as I turned it. It is a spalted maple and was pretty well decayed so I brought it back to life. Dyeing the wood involves mixing the colors by hand and brushing or spraying the dye onto the wood. As the dyes react to each other they produce different colors and the type of wood and saturation effects the result as well. I have many more bowls that are dyed and can make a custom one for you as well.
