Hand Dyed Bowls

Scott made a gorgeous custom cutting board to fit into a space provided for it in a custom countertop. My local cabinetmaker finished the edges for a perfect fit. Working with Scott was an absolute pleasure. He was in constant communication with me, providing drawings and photos. I chose the wood species from his stock and he altered the design to fit the style of my kitchen. The process was professional and thorough. I couldn't be happier with the results. The only problem was that the Postal Service damaged a corner in shipment. They would do nothing about it because I hadn't purchase insurance. My local cabinetmaker was able to sand down that edge so the damage does not show in the final product. My recommendation is to use UPS or FEDEX or purchase insurance if the Postal Service is used for shipment.

This was a totally enjoyable project. Scott was so easy to work with. He made the most beautiful cutting board, custom sized for my RV. We are leaving for a vacation soon and Scott was very helpful in making sure we had what we needed before we left. The board came quickly and very well packaged. We just put it in the RV tonight while we were packing and it looks beautiful. I know we will get many years of enjoyment from this beautiful, handcrafted treasure!

The cutting board was as beautiful as we expected and the couple who received it loved it. I was a little worried about the time line for getting it but it actually arrived a little earlier than I expected and Scott kept us informed about how the work was going which I appreciated a lot. Thanks.

The workmanship is excellent, the combination of various woods makes a beautiful cutting board. We can't wait to entertain and serve some cheeses on it.

Boards arrived quickly and as described. Prompt and thorough communication from the seller throughout the process. Offered additional options prior to finalizing the order, and provided care and maintenance tips. Would definitely do business with him again.

It's not easy to make these good looking wooden speakers, with excellent sound! Very satisfied with Mr Gowdy's work. They are awesome. I would recommend Mr Gowdy to anyone who would like to have custom made speakers build ! Thanks again.

Scott was wonderful to work with. He kept me informed every step of the way with messages and pictures of the progress asking for my input to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. He did an awesome job, the bench came out better then I could have ever imagined. I highly recommend working with him!
