Asian Themed Knife Project

I made this based on a cartoon graphic for someone in Chicago. It is all steel including the finger guard which I forged by hand. It has a para cord handle wrap and looks like something you hope to never see in a dark alley way. I was commissioned to build it as a Halloween prop so It is not functional but I would hate to accidentally fall on it!!! I think you might need a couple stitches. I believe this to be an Asian style knife from the looks of it. I noticed it looks like a Chinese writing character from the side profile. The knife features a cutting edge that is curved and a center tine with a barb like blade flare at the end. the top bar is short and gives the knife a tall aggressive looking profile as well as giving it additional character which looks like a Chinese symbol. The webbing is thinner and has a unique texture finish that is rougher than the blades. The finger guard has a similar rough finish and a black color from forging that gives the knife contrast. The handle wrap gives an Asian samurai sword like look.
