I am currently restoring a 1930's Childs Roll Top Desk made by Paris MFG Co, model #850. A friend of our family's approached me about the desk as it fell down the stairs while moving it and many pieces were broken. After agreeing to repair it, I found the Pairs MFG stamp on the back after I got it back to my shop. Researching this online, I found a little bit of history on the company and this model. After seeing some exact models online in the original stain, I showed it to the owner and asked if she would like this to look original since it looks as though it may have been refinished mulitple times. After agreeing to it, I became to disassemble the areas that were broken so I could remake those pieces and then start to sand this piece. While this project is not yet completed, I wanted it share some picture of the progress and will update this as it becomes completed in about a week.

Over the years, I have had the opportunity to provide General Contracting services for many different types of projects. The ones I loved the most were the ones I could use my creativity to design something beautiful and or unique. Ending my General Contracting business, I am now solely focusing on the furniture/wood working area.
I also have a love of antique furniture as well as unique custom made pieces. Having the skills and knowledge from my past work, I am able to offer the following:
Custom made furniture and other wood working pieces
Furniture repair (antique's are my favorite).
Refinishing of furniture.
