JONATHAN BENSON has been working .
with wood for over 35 years. His award winning furniture has been exhibited in over 40 galleries nationwide. His work has been featured in many regional and national publications including American Craft, Elan Magazine, Niche, Workbench and Woodworker West magazines. Jon has also written for many national magazines including American Woodturner, Cabinet Maker, Woodcraft, Woodwork and Woodworker West. He has written 3 books on woodworking including “Woodworker’s Guide to Veneering and Inlay”, “Woodworker’s Guide to Bending Wood” and his latest book, co-authored with his wife (a former executive chef), is on kitchen design.
Jon has taught woodworking and furniture design at the college level for over 10 years, and continues to give workshops and lectures around the U.S. on woodworking techniques, the field of furniture design, and the business of woodworking.
