Mack & Lake Mid Century Type Side Tables
The Mack & Lake series is inspired by some of my favorite mid century design techniques; the rectilinear box atop the gentle curve of the legs, integrated pulls, and generously rounded edges serve as reminders of classic style while maintaining a sense of freshness and new modernity. The pass through drawer allows access at either end making it ideal for placement adjacent to furniture that sits away from a wall. Shown here in Red Elm; also available in Walnut, Cherry, White Oak, or other species upon request. Dimensions here are 18"x18"x 23" , but custom sizing is always an option.

Since 2005 Modwoodshop has been specializing in the design and construction of top quality handcrafted fine furniture, unique cabinetry solutions, and custom interior woodwork. A diverse range of influences including Danish modern, Japanese architecture, and the works of Charles and Henry Greene converge in a minimalist aesthetic with a nuanced amount of subtle detail and visual appeal. A pared down approach of updating more traditional styles is also of particular interest.

For Mack & Lake Mid Century Type Coffee Table5.0I just received my coffee table from Jesse and it is everything I was hoping for. It is beautifully made and exactly what we discussed. From our first contact Jesse was very helpful in giving me options in design, types of wood, delivery and every aspect of the project. The table was delivered when promised and was packed very well. I was a little worried about it being damaged in shipping, but the crate he constructed around the table kept it in perfect condition. Considering the cost of foreign made furniture in local furniture stores the value of this table is extraordinary. I look forward to working with Jesse on future projects. :)
