Built to complement a Victorian home whose occupants had equal parts classic and modern design sensibities, these vertical grain Douglas Fir cabinets were designed without the typically opulent ornamentation of Victorian works; the pared down result gives a nod to its origins and surroundings while maintaining a decidedly updated look. Base cabinets and the Hoosier cabinet are all made in a freestanding furniture style on dovetailed bases.

For Mack & Lake Mid Century Type Coffee TableI just received my coffee table from Jesse and it is everything I was hoping for. It is beautifully made and exactly what we discussed. From our first contact Jesse was very helpful in giving me options in design, types of wood, delivery and every aspect of the project. The table was delivered when promised and was packed very well. I was a little worried about it being damaged in shipping, but the crate he constructed around the table kept it in perfect condition. Considering the cost of foreign made furniture in local furniture stores the value of this table is extraordinary. I look forward to working with Jesse on future projects. :)
