Hand Carved Praying Hands And Serenity Prayer Pocket Size Big Book Cover

Handmade in Des Moines, Iowa by RAllanK Leathercraft

This genuine leather cover for a pocket sized edition of AA's "big book" was hand carved and tooled with a stylish Serenity Prayer on the back and "Praying Hands" on the front. All my covers are from the highest quality tooling leather outer surfaces, carved and tooled to your taste, and a finished calf-skin or designer leather interior. I hand lace each cover with genuine calf-skin lace and will also stich if you prefer. I regularly make covers for all sizes of AA' Big Book including pocket, soft-back, hard-back and large print and also make dual covers for both Big Book and Twelve and Twelve for the pocket, standard and large print editions. Any novel, bible, album or favorite novel can be similarly covered. Just contact me with the details of your project and we will work out a design and cost. Pricing depends on the size of the cover, complexity of the interior construction, and mainly on the detail and surface area of the hand tooled design.

Welcome to RAllanK Leather!

My name is Allan and I have been hand carving and tooling leather since around the age of 12. Nevermind how long ago that was!

My initial work was in wallets, belts, and purses. But my love is in tooling larger items with more room for design and expression. I currently specialize in book covers and covers for consumer electronic devices.

Have a family bible that you would like to protect and decorate with a carved leather cover with your favorite passage inscribed? How about a personalized cover for your favorite novel or photo album. Are you in recovery or know someone who is? I have many ready-made designs for covers for the literature from Alcoholics Anonymous and other 12 step programs for that special sponsor or loved one in recovery.

I also tool portraits of pets. Have a furry friend that you would like remembered in leather? How about a leather clock or wall hanging with your favorite picture of your pet?

Though my love and specialty is in the carving, tooling and dying of leather, I do welcome all inquiries for your leather project. I do all my own work including tooling and dying of the leather and the stitching, lacing and any other assembly required to complete the final product.

I look forward to hearing your ideas for that carved leather project you have in mind.

These cuffs are perfect! My sister loves them and now she wants to order some for her friends. Allan did a wonderful job and got them to me in time for Christmas.

My experience working with RAllan Leathercraft was amazing! Allen was very professional! Through out the project, we communicated back and forth, I really appreciated his suggestions, honesty and expertise. Allan was very good to work with and responded quickly to my daily emails and questions regarding the project. It was a pleasure working with Allen, I would have to say that I give him 5 stars in timeliness, communication, professionalism, expertise, shipping and delivery and value. Should I ever have a reason to do a leather project again, I will definitely use RAllen K, and would highly recommend his work to anyone looking someone honest, talented and professional with leather craft. I was very pleased with work!
