Leather Alcoholics Anonymous Big Book Cover With Serenity Prayer
This design was initially requested as a custom item. The same design that was available for the standard size Alcoholics Anonymous cover was requested on a cover for the Soft Back version of the text. The design (cropped slightly for the smaller cover) with reduced circle and triangle was hand carved and tooled in high quality 4-5 oz cowhide and stained with dark brown antiquing with slight golden tint for a rich brown contrast that still brings out all the contrast of the tooled design. The buyer also ordered an inside sleeves of cowhide and asked that name and phrase be tooled and a medallion window be added on these inside sleeves. As with all my covers, this can be ordered in a variety of colors and with choice of stitching or lacing for the listed price. Additional customizations to design, addition of name, date, medallion window inside or out, and a variety of closure methods all available for additional cost. For this cover, an additional $40 was added for the interior sleeves and tooling and another $20 for the medallion window with stitching. Alcoholics Anonymous book not included.

My name is Allan and I have been hand carving and tooling leather since around the age of 12. Nevermind how long ago that was!
My initial work was in wallets, belts, and purses. But my love is in tooling larger items with more room for design and expression. I currently specialize in book covers and covers for consumer electronic devices.

Though my love and specialty is in the carving, tooling and dying of leather, I do welcome all inquiries for your leather project. I do all my own work including tooling and dying of the leather and the stitching, lacing and any other assembly required to complete the final product.
