Carbon Fiber Chess Board - Large

I make custom handmade chess boards out of carbon fiber. For the last several years I have been perfecting the craft of making things out of carbon fiber. I have made all sorts of things ranging from gun holsters to bottle openers.

I am Mechanical engineer and first learned the basics to working with carbon fiber in school. Since then I have spent countless hours making things out of it. Carbon fiber is known to be an expensive material, but really the expense is in the work it takes to make a product look beautiful. It can be difficult to work with, but when done right the results are amazing.

My focus now is on chess boards because the ones I make are unique and different from anyone else in the world. I layup everything by hand and cut and trim everything by hand. There is a lot of detail that goes into a chess board. Especially because it is out of carbon fiber. I have developed a process to make them that is unique and I am confident that there is no one else out there making them like me.

Currently I have made the chess boards with black carbon fiber and red kevlar. But I can get just about any two colors that you could want. The squares could be whatever colors that you could imagine. I love trying and testing new things and look forward to hearing what I can make for you.
