This luxury baby blanket was hand woven on a traditional floor loom in Massachusetts. The crisp white edges are crocheted with care. This blanket is mostly chenille, and is very soft to the touch. I am a hand weaver from Massachusetts specializing in custom designs for upholstery fabric, throws, scarves and pillows. I use cotton, wool, rayon chenille & bamboo to create luxurious fabric, that is both durable and soft to the touch.
My company has been doing textile design for the aircraft and interior design industry for over 40 years. I've been looking for an opportunity to work on a smaller scale and to work directly with clients to create fabric and products that suit their design and comfort needs. Design challenges and ideas from clients help me grow both as a weaver and a designer. I'm looking forward to being inspired by working with clients to create a product they've always wanted, but could never find.
