Church And Institutional Furniture
A local church was upgrading their pipe organ to a digital organ and needed a way to conceal the massive speakers that were to be hung on the wall. I worked with the church committee to design enclosures that precisely mimic organ pipes in their cases. We visited local pipe organ makers and scrounged old pipes that we integrated into the design. The enclosures were designed to pick up architectural design elements in the windows at the church. The chest was custom built to hold organ sheet music, choir microphones, and other items related to the church's music ministry. The Parish was so pleased they had me build a hutch for the church Narthex. In the hutch top I built in literature displays and in the bottom ample storage, including a locked section. In font of the baptismal font you see a custom built candle holder for the Pascal candle.
