"About Me"
Hi my name is Elisabeth, my close friends and family know me as Lisa. I have been involved in artful expression since the age of six through sewing and ballet. By high school my sewing skills were recognized by one of my teachers witch lead to a job to create and design her wedding gown.

After high school I attended FIT in New York City and majored in fashion design. After FIT I worked in the design world working and honing my skills through pattern making and sample production for IZOD. Then as an assistant knitwear designer for a sportswear company.

"My Work, Past and Present"
My first company Wearable Art consisted of handmade airbrushed garments. Which I sold locally through different channels. I entered a contest and got appointed a spot in a art gallery in Northampton, MA. The only piece of clothing sold in the store at that time.
After many years of enjoying art as side business I decided to make it full-time. In 1997 when I started Seventh Trumpet, a line of dance wear for women who care to be modest while dancing and still wanting to appear ethereal and flowing. Specialized for ballet, modern, and lyrical performances. I was blessed to curate a loyal fan base of dance teams and customers across the country.
Growing up in a household where I was taught it was proper to arrive with a gift for any occasion you were invited to. I found a love of making gifts, instead of buying them. My love of creating one of a kind gifts has been my inspiration to create Souzou Design House. A custom embroidered pillow that is an appropriate gift for any occasion.
