Three Piece Dinette Set
This dinette was made from honey locust and silver maple. The chairs are mid-height, at 24" tall at the seat. They're not quite as high as bar stools, which let you comfortably slip directly into and out of the chairs quite comfortably. And at 36" tall, the table sits midway between more traditional table heights and the taller bistro tables. It's comfortable when seated as well as standing before it.

I am a custom furniture designer and maker located in Crestwood, IL, nestled among the southwest suburbs of Chicago. I began working with wood in 1975, using the hand tools and materials available to me as a youth. Since then I have graduated to making much more elaborate pieces from domestic and exotic hardwoods in my commercial workshop.
Every piece that I make is unique to the needs and design sensibilities of the client. I can accommodate commissioned requests which range from simple and unadorned designs with clean lines to more complex and flowing pieces using beautiful figured veneers, and any combination in between.
When not working in the shop I work for Wood Magazine as their online community manager and provide projects, tool reviews and other woodworking related articles to the print side. I've been on the news stands over three dozen times in the last 15 years, working to help other woodworkers advance their craft.
At the end of the day my goal is to bring a sense of comfort and uniqueness to your home. If I've done my job correctly I've enhanced your living experience and brought something to your environment that no one else on Planet Earth has, and which makes your home life just a little bit better.
