This beautiful table and bench set is made using reclaimed Oak. This is a take on one of our most popular tables. Our Pallet Table, normally with hairpin legs, we made this one custom with u-shaped square steel legs. This table is the perfect size for 4-6 people. Steel legs give this table a great mix of rough wood and industrial. Wood is left slightly rough, but smooth enough to not have to worry about splinters. You can really see the age and depth to this wood. Stained in Dark Walnut to really show the grains and rough character. You can see all the old nail holes and saw marks. Legs are left raw, welds are covered in dark gray primer and clear coated for a great industrial look. The table measures 52" long, 28" wide, 30" high while the bench measures 40" long, 14" wide, 18" high. Hi! We are Athena and Gabe, the co-owners of STMS Furniture. We started out Online in June 2010 as just a hobby. We were both working full time jobs with 3 children. Gabe won a bid through another handmade site for a small stripped table made using pallet and barn wood. He decided to take the table outside in the beautiful green grass and with the natural light and vibrant colors the photo made it to the Front Page on the internet and has been featured in other articles. That day we sold 4 tables. Gabe had to quit his day job 2 weeks later! I followed a few months behind him when the finish work and paperwork were too much to handle with a day job.
We take great pride in every piece of furniture that we make. From a simple mirror to a 6 foot dining room table. Each item gets our full attention and only the best products are used. We both come from families that have hardworking, artistic and creative people that have shown us through the years how to create a great product and a great business.
We firmly believe that handcrafted, well made furniture does not need to cost a fortune. We worked out of our home for over three years, just the two of us designing, building and finishing everything, so we were able to keep our costs and prices low.
We recently purchased a real facility to make our furniture. We went from about 600 sq/ft to over 13,000. It is still a small operation for us. We still sell, build, finish and ship all of our items ourselves. We are working hard to make SweetTea & MoonShine a success!
A guide to the best items from the best makers and the stories behind them.

For Wide Plank Hardwood Industrial Dining SetThe table arrive damaged, there were marks on the top of the table and the legs were missing, one side seemed to not be stained the color of the rest of the table. i have emailed the seller to ask how to return the table as this is for my company not for my personal home.

For Wide Plank Hardwood Industrial Dining SetAll things considered I'm very happy overall with my table. He did great work. It definitely took a couple weeks longer than what I was told which I kind of expected. Communication was average at best. Once I received the table it was worth the wait. Nice job! 4/5 stars

For Coffee TableVery happy with the coffee table Gabe made. It's exactly what I asked for and looks great. He responded quickly to my questions and the changes I suggested. The table did take quite a bit longer to complete than was originally estimated, but it was worth the wait.

For Reclaimed Wood Coffee TableThe piece looks OK bu the maker failed to deliver on time and failed to deliver assembled as described in his proposal. The DIY hardware he included instead was flimsy and not nearly strong enough to hold the piece together securely. I had to solve this problem myself. I would not recommend this maker.
