These are paper bead bracelets that I made by rolling strips of magazine and gluing them. Each bead is then double sealed in enamel to stand the test of time. I make them into bracelets by incorporating other beads of all kinds and putting them on elastic thread. These bracelets take about two hours to make in my home studio. They can be easily cleaned by wiping with a damp cloth. I made these pieces for the same reason I make all of my crafts: I love to work with paper, and I hate to see anything go to waste, especially if I know it has real potential to be beautiful.

I make upcycled coasters, beads, boxes, notebooks, bookmarks, vases, bowls, and whatever else peaks my interest. If you can modify it with paper, I'm interested. I craft mostly out of magazine and glue, but I also use salvaged, thrifted and gifted materials with a few items being purchased new (e.g. paper, tape, rivets, thread). Items are sealed, covered, or laminated to ensure durability.
When you buy upcycled goods, you get beautiful, unique products while supporting a movement to keep usable items out of the landfills and in our homes.
