Latta-Inspired Federal End Tables
Inspired by the modern Federal work of Steve Latta, each end table is made-to-order. Shown here are a pair in Walnut, one with maple inlay and one with cherry. A beautiful, shop-sawn veneer is used in this example to highlight the drawer front. Each table is made with traditional joinery (full, blind and and half-blind dovetails) and finished in three parts with oil, shellac and wax. A very good example of mid-Atlantic traditional furniture making. Can be made to virtually any dimension or modified in design to be a coffee table, long table, etc. Wood species (cherry, mahogany, etc) to be chosen by customer. Discount for purchasing in pairs.

About Me:
With a "day job" that puts me on the road as a sound engineer for pop stars, metal bands and all manner of touring artists, I love my time at home in the shop. What started as necessary hobby to remodel our 100+ year old home on the NJ shore has led a great love for woodworking. In particular, I love finding solutions to unique challenges.
My projects:
With building a side business, I never need to push volume or time, as such, I rarely have more than one or two projects going at a time and they always get my full attention. Favorites include understated Federal furniture and custom built-ins. Room by room, our own home is becoming a library and I love helping other people find homes for their books. Even better is helping them craft the right table, chair, bed or even kitchen island to help them enjoy them!
