I create heirloom, museum quality, custom furniture. I studied history at the Virginia Military Institute and completed the North Bennet Street School's Cabinet and Furniture Making program. I now make custom furniture, built-ins and architectural millwork. I specialize in, but am not limited to, historic reproductions and period pieces.
The process begins with the design phase where I work with clients to turn their ideas into a formal drawing. From there I hand pick lumber, use traditional joinery and apply hand rubbed finishes to construct a functional piece of art that will last a lifetime and can be passed down to future generations.
