Platform Bedframe Matching Headboard And Nightstand
These matching pieces have a modern look with a somewhat rustic finish. Both the headboard and the nightstand have multiple options and features. The headboard has staggered length, stained pine planks surrounded by a semi-gloss black painted frame. There is a small shelf towards the top with outlets for convenient charging of electronics. In the second picture there is an example of the blue ambient light that illuminates the shelf as well as the space behind the entire headboard. Also in this photoshopped example picture is an example of the lamp hidden under the nightstand. When turned on by a switch located on the side, the lamp only illuminates the floor of the room so if you have to wake up or go to sleep before or after your partner they will not be disturbed. This picture is photoshopped so it is easy to see where the ambient light comes from and shines to. Obviously this set can be customized, or the features can be applied to another idea.

Retrofit Reality was initiated actually retrofitting items for new and different uses. This is certainly still something that is done, but since the beginning it has evolved into work with lighting, furniture, and anything a client comes to me with.
Generally all the projects I have done and sold have been a client with a general idea in mind. We sit down finalize and improve the idea to create something completely original.
I am currently studying an art major with a focus in sculpture. I actually chose this field of study to improve and inspire my designs. I like to think of my work as bringing art to function, and function to art.
