Since the grains of the wood are not exposed the wood will soak up less moisture, it's less likely to be susceptible to bowing, contraction expansion or cracking if not oiled regularly. The Butcher Block to is sealed with our Exclusive butcher block conditioner which provides a buttery surface and conditions the top. The top should be re-oil at least once a month. A wine glass holder, which can hold 6 large glasses or 8 medium glasses is mounted underneath the drawer. The bottom shelf can hold wine bottle, paper towel rolls or any other items of your choice.
