Children's Art Desk
We started making this desk because we wanted to provide our son with an art space of his own where he can color and use chalk. He absolutely loved it and so did all the other children who came over. Our son would walk them over to the desk, show them the goodies stored inside, and beam with joy as they sat there and created! It was amazing to watch. We started getting requests from friends and family so we started to expand beyond that. These desks are made with poplar, primed, painted (with latex and chalkboard) and protected since they get quite a bit of use. We also have a stool (with a back) that we started creating to go along with the desk. The styles and dimensions can vary. We can switch the table legs to be more masculine or more feminine depending on the child. We like to include the child's initial on the top to personalize it. We have also included the child's names on the back of the stools to personalize further.

We are a husband and wife team who developed a deep love for building, restoring and finishing beautiful pieces while decorating our first home. We both come from handy families and have been exposed to woodworking and "fixing" since we were young.
We both have full time jobs - Keith is a General Manager at a high end restaurant and Jacki works in marketing - but we have always loved being creative and working with our hands.
We have a son, a dog and throughout all the crazy, we find the time to work on our passion while not losing sight of the most important thing in our lives - our family.
