This Maker has consistently demonstrated excellence in craftsmanship and customer service.

I am a former general contractor - built homes for a mid-size builder, did finish carpentry, spiral staircases, European cabinetry, and fine furniture. Currently a Captain in the Oregon Army National Guard I also enjoy military heraldry projects on the side for awards and display purposes.

I have a modest shop with most all the right tools - except a lathe and I enjoy a good project to obsess over. Typically tables, dressers, shelves, and residential home built-ins are my specialty. I have been known to make cabinets for friends not on a production schedule.

Wood is my main medium of choice. I only build with solid wood or high quality plywood - baltic birch or apple ply. No particle board here! Fiber board and melamine only when the project needs dictate the use of it. I am open to multiple textures - metal, tile, glass, or other ingredients if it makes the item interesting.

I innovate for each customer with AutoCAD renderings and 3D models of concepts - think Design-Build. I interview each customer to understand their unique needs and help create the piece that they didn't even believe was possible!

Being an Army Engineer, we own a battle cry of "Essayons!" which means "Let Us Try!" - for me, that means there is no obstacle too difficult to breach!

My estimates and preliminary concept drawings are free until an agreement is made for a build.

I look forward to working with you on your next project!
