Solid, simple, rustic and stylish come together in this walnut coffee table. It is fashioned from solid black walnut with highlights of crimson padauk, and oak. Coffee table displayed is 43" long x 16.5" wide x 16" high This table can be made to order with variation in wood species and dimension changes. What is the story of this table? Seven years ago, while working at a cabinet shop I pulled some beautiful pieces of wood out of the scrap pile. I couldn't believe wood came in any other colors than just shades of brown. I then discovered the joy of putting together reclaimed furniture-grade lumber like a puzzle and seeing what I can come up with. Six months later when I married my beautiful wife I started furnishing our house with pieces made of various combinations of exotic and domestic hardwoods; including a prototype for this very table! Friends of mine have been telling me for years that I should make and sell my coffee table and other designs; I hope you enjoy this table as much as I did when I am made it! Every piece is a journey…
