I've been a musician all my life and after an unfortunate incident between my dog 'Sassy' and a vintage 1963 Gibson SG that left the head stock broken, I decided to build a safer, sturdier wood stand.
Some of those 'old' 60's guitars are valued at $20,000 to $50,000. Why would you trust your investment to a rickety tripod type metal stand or a multi stand made from PVC or some other poorly designed material?
