ARCA founder, designer, and craftswoman, Christina DiFabio started the line ARCA with a concept: neckties with embellished details. She wanted to take the tie to a new level, to make it a truly distinctive accessory, to make it 3-D.

Christina trained at the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design and has worked in New York City as a professional designer for 10 years creating everything from shoes to swimsuits to beaded dresses. Recently, she found a love of embellishing things. Taking a simple accessory or garment and giving it "special treatment." That combined with a newfound hobby of making neckties was the spark that ignited ARCA. Starting with the idea of hardware on neckties, she imagined if that special tie clip or tie pin could somehow be part of the tie, be integrated. Metal studs became the key component to give dimension that is both masculine and nostalgic while being modernly eccentric. She made one for her husband and he loved it. What a conversation piece and it sure got people talking! She began making ties for friends, for friends' weddings, for gifts and kept going…
So began ARCA.

All ARCA neckties are 100% handcrafted and hand-embellished in Brooklyn, NY. They are made with fine fabrics from around the world and sourced in NYC and then embellished with metal studs and hand embroidery. Made using only traditional high-end techniques with a modern aesthetic, ARCA ensures a beautiful look and a long-lasting, quality tie.
