It has been milled to 2.5" thick, has been meticulously hand sanded, and finished with a velvet feel industrial strength conversion varnish. The legs are made completely by us, using hand-bent American steel, welded to steel plate that is seamlessly set into the base of the table. This table can handle a lifetime of love (and abuse ;) Additionally, we NEVER add to deforestation or use lumber harvested to sell for profit! Our trees come from local tree services that remove dangerous trees and the Missouri Conversation Department.
